Ashwath Marimuthu said "The budget given to me was Rs 37 crores, and I managed to wrap up the film in the said budget. Whatever I need in the film, I write it in the paper, including what stays in the editing, the run time was 2 hours 37 min, now we have trimmed it to 2 hours 30 min. So I never shoot extra for two reasons: one is it's a waste of energy for me, and the second is the production cost is also waste. "
