This tremendously unserious film that celebrates illogical sequences, dance, drama and action received the audience's support. At the box office, it faced competition from Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor’s Loveyapa and has managed to race ahead in terms of total collection.

According to early estimates by Sacnilk, Badass Ravi Kumar has earned Rs .50 crore at the box office on its fifth day. After 5 days, its total collection stands at Rs 7.25 crore, which is around Rs 2 crore more than Loveyapa.

Himesh Reshammiya returns as Ravi Kumar after 11 years in the spin-off film of The Xpose. The 2014 film is currently streaming on multiple platforms, including Amazon Prime Video and Disney+ Hotstar along with YouTube.

Set against a backdrop of espionage and national security, the narrative follows police officer Ravi Kumar, portrayed by Himesh Reshammiya, who is renowned for his unyielding approach to justice. The central plot revolves around a sensitive reel containing India's secrets, currently in the possession of Laila, played by Kirti Kulhari. This reel becomes the target of Zaid Bashir, a Pakistani official enacted by Manish Wadhwa, who aims to acquire it to compromise India's security. Entrusted with the critical mission, Ravi Kumar is tasked with retrieving the reel and ensuring it doesn't fall into adversarial hands.
