BMW Updates R 18 Lineup: Likely To Launch In India
BMW has updated its R 18 cruiser bike lineup. The model range includes five bikes: R 18, R 18 Classic, R 18 Roctane, R 18 B, and R 18 Transcontinental. Updates for the new model year include a new 18-inch wheel, replacing the 16-inch one on the older models. Other updates include a new silencer, a new removable single seat with thicker padding, and a hidden release button.
2025 BMW R 18: Features
The standard feature list has also increased. The lineup gets daytime running lights and a USB-charging socket. BMW is offering a slew of optional accessories. With the Comfort Package, you get features such as heated grips, a hill start assist, a lockable fuel filler cap, and cruiser control.
2025 BMW R 18: Engine Specifications
The R 18 bikes continue with the same 1,802 cc Boxer engine. The unit now meets the Euro 5+ emission regulations. The power output stays the same at 90 hp; however, the peak torque goes up by 5 Nm to 163 Nm. Currently, BMW sells the R 18 Continental in India, but earlier, it had all five bikes on offer. The new models are likely to make their way to India soon.
