Deva Box Office Collection Day 7: Shahid Kapoor's Cop Actioner Slows Down, To Touch Rs 30 Crore Mark Soon

Shahid Kapoor’s cop action drama, Deva, might have slowed down at the box office, but it is about to touch the Rs 30 crore mark soon. Despite mixed reviews, fans are supporting the new action thriller directed by Rosshan Andrrews.

According to Sacnilk’s early estimates, Deva slipped further at the box office, minting just Rs 1.50 crore on day 7 (February 6). The estimated total after a week is Rs 28.15 crore in India alone. As per the makers of Deva, the global collection following the weekend was Rs 38.30 crore.

Deva follows the story of a rogue cop, Dev Ambre, who suffers memory loss after meeting with an accident while solving a case. He is investigating the killing of his friend and colleague Rohan D’Silva. Rohan was shot dead at a gallantry award ceremony. After a long investigation, Dev identifies the killer but following the accident, he fails to remember his findings.

Deva is produced by Zee Studios and Roy Kapur Films. Rosshan Andrrews, a renowned director from the Malayalam cinema, helms it. The film also stars Pavail Gulatie, Pravessh Rana and Upendra Limaye in key roles. Deva released on January 31.
