Explore The Core Of Basil Joseph's Ponman With New Promo Video

On February 7, Friday, the makers of actor-director Basil Joseph's film Ponman took to their social media to release a new video featuring snapshots from the film titled Core Of Ponman. The montage video showcases the different characters in the film, and offers the viewer an idea of the story and setting of the recently-released film. Ponman released on January 30 to overwhelming positive reviews.

More About Ponman

The film marks the directorial debut of seasoned production designer Jothish Shankar. Ponman is an adaptation of GR Indugopan's novel Nalanchu Cheruppakar, and has been jointly scripted by Minnal Murali co-writer Justin Mathew along with the novelist.

The film also stars Aavesham-fame Sajin Gopu, Lijomol Jose, Deepak Parambol, Anand Manmadhan, Rajesh Sharma, Jaya Kurup, Vyshnavi Kalyani, Lakshmy Sanju, Reju Sivadas, Maju Anchal, Shylaja P Ambu, K V Kadampanadan, Thankam Mohan and Midhun Venugopal. The technical crew of Ponman includes Sanu John Varughese handling cinematography, Nidhin Raj Arol on editing, Justin Varghese composing the songs and original score, and Jothish himself handling his forte as the production designer.

Jothish, who made his debut as an art director with Adaminte Makan Abu in 2011, is also recognised as a seasoned production designer. His notable works include Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum, Kumbalangi Nights, Virus, Android Kunjappan Ver 5.25, Pathemari, Nna Thaan Case Kodu and Bramayugam, among others.
