Hyderabad: A massive fire broke out at a chemical factory in the Cherlapally industrial area, located on the outskirts of Hyderabad, causing widespread panic. Staff members at the factory were seen fleeing the site as the fire quickly spread.
Firefighters were promptly alerted and rushed to the scene to control the blaze. Thick black smoke billowed from the factory, enveloping the entire area. Emergency crews are currently working tirelessly to contain the fire and prevent it from spreading further.
The cause of the fire is yet to be determined, and authorities are investigating the incident. There are no reports of casualties so far. Further investigation in the case is underway.
In another news, a fire broke out at MetroChem API Pvt Ltd, a pharmaceutical company located in Jawaharlal Nehru Pharma City in Parawada, Anakapalli district. According to the police, the fire started at around 6:30 AM in the effluent treatment plant.
The flames were swiftly doused, with fire tenders arriving on the scene immediately after the fire was reported. Within just 20 minutes, the situation was under control, and there were no injuries reported, officials confirmed.
Anakapalli Superintendent of Police Tuhin Sinha stated that the fire was quickly extinguished thanks to the prompt response of the fire department. "The fire broke out in the effluent treatment plant. Fire tenders reached the site without delay, and the fire was brought under control in 20 minutes," Sinha said.
