Kannada actor Giri Dinesh, known for his role in Navagraha, passed away on Friday evening, 7 February. According to reports, the son of veteran actor Dinesh, died after suffering a heart attack.

Giri was reportedly performing his evening prayers at home when he complained of chest pain. Despite being rushed to a nearby hospital, he was declared dead on arrival.
Giri Dinesh rose to fame with his portrayal of Shetty in Navagraha, a 2008 film directed by Dinakar Thoogudeepa, the brother of Kannada superstar Darshan. He started as child artist in Baare Nanna Muddina Rani. He also appeared in films like Chamkaisi Chindi Udaisi and Vajra. A close associate of actor Darshan, Giri was an integral part of the industry.
Navagraha
The film Navagraha, which featured an ensemble cast including Darshan, Tharun Sudhir, Dharma Keerthiraj, Vinod Prabhakar, Srujan Lokesh, and others, was a box-office success upon its release on November 7, 2008. The film was recently re-released, bringing back memories of its success.
His sudden demise has left the Kannada film industry in shock, with condolences pouring in from colleagues and fans alike.
