The best part? This time this day is coinciding with Magha Purnima which is considered one of the auspicious days. Goddess Lalita is one of the ten Mahavidyas in Hinduism. The goddess is also known by other names like Tripura Sundari and goddess Shodashi.
Interestingly, the goddess is considered a form of divine feminine who embodies all aspects of creation, preservation and destruction. Her worship is central to several branches of Tantric traditions and Shakta philosophy.
