Local Gen-Z Anthem From Bromance Film Will Set The Dance Floor On Fire!

The makers of Jo and Jo director Arun D Jose's upcoming film Bromance took to their social media to release the first single from the film titled Local Gen - Z Anthem. Composed by Govind Vasantha, the song features Sarath Mannarkkadu, Shikha Prabhakaran, and Govind Vasantha on vocals and lyrics by Suhail Koya. Bromance is scheduled for release on February 14, 2025.

Shoot Began In July

The film had officially commenced shooting on July 15, Monday, after a customary auspicious pooja and switch-on ceremony in Kochi. The pooja was attended by its cast and crew, including its main leads Arjun, Mathew, along with actors Shyam Mohan and Sangeeth Prathap of Premalu fame. The news of the film's shoot commencing was shared on social media by its producer Ashiq Usman, along with members of the crew, featuring videos and snapshots from the pooja ceremony. Arjun Ashokan and Sangeeth Prathap were involved in a car accident during the shoot of a sequence for the film, and Sangeeth Prathap had to take time off from shoot because of this his injuries. However, the actor made a complete recovery and rejoined the shoot.

More About Bromance

Bromance has been jointly scripted by director Arun, Raveesh Nath, and Thomas P Sebastian. Arun and Raveesh had previously collaborated on the director's debut film Jo and Jo (2022) as well as the critically-acclaimed Journey of Love 18+ (2023). The duo has also jointly worked on Raveesh's directorial debut film Samadhana Pusthakam, with Siju Wilson playing a prominent role, which released in theatres on July 19.
