Mohanlal-Sathyan Anthikad Film Hridayapoorvam Begins Filming!
On February 10, Monday, the makers of the upcoming Mohanlal-Sathyan Anthikad film Hridayapoorvam took to their social media to announce that the film had officially begun filming after a traditional pooja ceremony. The new film, which is expected to be a heartwarming family entertainer in the director's usual vein, is said to have Mohanlal playing an every-man in a collaboration after nine years since the 2015 comedy drama Ennum Eppozhum.

Antony Perumbavoor's Aashirvad Cinemas announced through their official social media handles on February 10, Monday, that their next project, Hridayapoorvam, which would be bringing back the hit combination of Mohanlal and director Sathyan Anthikad, began filming after a traditional pooja ceremony.
The post, which featured the film's lead star lighting the lamp, thus setting off the project, was shared with the caption, "Requesting all your prayers and blessings as we embark on our next project, Hridayapoorvam. #AVD35 #hridayapoorvam (sic)"
A Cryptic Tease
A few months ago, Akhil Sathyan, the director's son, had earlier dropped a teaser about the much-anticipated project while sharing a picture of Mohanlal and Sathyan Anthikad with producer Antony Perumbavoor, along with the caption, "A super-fun Mohanlal-Sathyan Anthikad filmn on the way (sic)", along with a fire emoji. Sathyan Anthikad too spoke about how he was looking forward to present Mohanlal as a common man after the stupendous success of Jeethu Joseph's Neru.What We Know About Hridayapoorvam
The new film, which is expected to be a heartwarming family entertainer in the director's usual vein, is said to have Mohanlal playing an every-man in a collaboration after nine years since the 2015 comedy drama Ennum Eppozhum. Hridayapoorvam has been scripted by Akhil TP, who shot to fame with the short film titled Night Call, featuring actor Shyam Mohan of Premalu fame.Other details of the cast and crew of the film are unknown, but according to reports, cinematographer Anu Moothedath of Athiran and Soofiyum Sujatayum fame has joined the team as the director of photography, and music composer Justin Prabhakaran has been roped in to score the songs and background music for the film. We had also reported when actor Sangeeth Prathap of Premalu fame was added to the film's cast, along with the inclusion of Tamil actor Malavika Mohanan. The shooting is expected to take place across Kochi and Pune. The film is bankrolled by Antony Perumbavoor's Aashirvad Cinemas, which is awaiting the release of another leviathan, the much anticipated L2: Empuraan, on March 27.
