Noida’s Ahlcon School Shut After Bomb Threat, St Stephen’s College On Alert

Delhi: Schools across Delhi-NCR, including Noida and Mayur Vihar, faced another wave of bomb threats today, putting police and parents on edge.

Ahlcon International School in Mayur Vihar Phase 1 received a threatening email early this morning. The school immediately alerted the Pandav Nagar Police Station around 6:40 am. In response, the East District bomb disposal squad, along with police officials and dog handlers, arrived at the scene to inspect the premises thoroughly.

Delhi Police later confirmed that nothing suspicious was found. "The premises were thoroughly checked, and no abnormality was detected," an officer stated.

As a precaution, Ahlcon International School decided to shift classes online for the day. A concerned parent shared, "The school didn’t explain much, but I believe the closure is due to the bomb threat."

This latest scare comes just two days after a juvenile was apprehended for making fake bomb threats to several Noida schools, including Step By Step, Heritage, and Gyan Shri. Police sources revealed that the student’s motive was to disrupt ongoing exams.

Educational institutions in Noida, Kidwai Nagar, and Mayur Vihar are now under heightened vigilance. Authorities assure the public that all necessary safety protocols are being followed and investigations are underway to trace the origin of these threats.

Parents have been urged to remain calm as police continue efforts to discourage such dangerous pranks and ensure a safe environment for students.
