A man in Pune stabbed his wife to death after a heated argument on Wednesday, said the police.

Pune: A man allegedly stabbed his wife to death by a pair of scissor in her throat, in Pune. After that, the man shot a video of himself expressing remorse and posted it on a social media group of office. The police has arrested the accused husband allegedly for his wife's murder. According to the police, the incident took place on Wednesday after the couple had an argument. A cry for help of the wounded wife alerted the neighbours who immediately reached the spot and took her to a hospital.
The incident took place in Kharadi area of Pune, the police said on Thursday. At around 4.30 am on Wednesday, an argument broke out between Shivdas Gite (37) and his wife Jyoti Gite (27). Following that, the accused husband lost his temper and used a pair of scissors to attack his wife. Shivdas stabbed the sharp weapon in her throat. Her loud cry gathered neighbours.
The locals took her to a hospital but she was declared dead on arrival. After which, Shivdas recorded a video on his phone, and posted it on his office group.
"During the argument, Shivdas attacked Jyoti with a scissor. He stabbed her in the throat. She was rushed to hospital by neighbours who came after hearing her shouts for help. She was declared dead on arrival by doctors. Shivdas then shot a video on his phone, expressing remorse over his act. He posted it on his office group," the official said.
