Ranveer Allahbadia-IGL Row: Rakhi Sawant, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Urfi Javed, Raftaar Summoned By Cyber Cell

Ranveer Allahbadia’s vulgar comment on India’s Got Latent has landed many former guests of the Samay Raina show in trouble. After several complaints, Maharashtra Cyber Cell has summoned former guests such as Rakhi Sawant, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Urfi Javed, Raftaar and Tanmay Bhat. According to IANS, they were called for questioning related to the case.

The report further states that Samay Raina’s lawyer informed the Cyber Cell that the comedian is in the US for a tour. He will be returning on March 17, 2025. The advocate has also submitted the travel ticket and show schedules to the authorities.

Let us tell you, Maharashtra Cyber Police filed an FIR on Tuesday (February 11) against 30 to 40 people associated with the show. The case has been registered under Section 67 (transmission of obscene material in electronic form) of the Information Technology Act and other relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. The names in the FIR are involved from the first six episodes of India’s Got Latent.

The NCW has also summoned the YouTubers Ranveer Allahbadia, Samay Raina, Apoorva Mukhija, Jaspreet Singh and Ashish Chanchlani along with producers Tushar Poojari and Saurabh Bothra. They have been asked to appear before the commission in Delhi on February 17, 2025.

It has to be noted that Ranveer Allahbadia aka BeerBiceps has already apologised for his comment in the episode. However, the netizens have been demanding to arrest him and ban India’s Got Latent.
