Singer Liam Payne died aged 31 on October 16 after falling from the third-floor balcony of a hotel in the Argentine capital Buenos Aires. An investigation has been going on into his tragic fall from his hotel room's balcony.

Now, a new report claims that the late One Direction star struggled with questions about his sexuality and allegedly pressured his former fiancée Maya Henry to terminate a pregnancy.

A report by Rolling Stone has claimed that the former One Direction member sexted other 'men' while dating Maya on and off from 2018 to 2022.

The source claimed that Liam forced Maya to get an abortion in 2020. They alleged, "Liam sent Maya a long message saying it’s either get an abortion and stay with him, or raise the kid alone and he will not acknowledge either of them. This was a surprise to Maya, because Liam wanted to have a family, and they were trying for a kid." Many insiders claimed to the magazine that Liam privately 'struggled with his sexuality.'

Maya seemed to have hinted at the abortion in her novel Looking Forward, which she said was 'inspired' by her and Liam’s romance.

For the unversed, Liam welcomed a son in March 2017 with ex-girlfriend Cheryl Cole.

In November last year, One Direction bandmates joined Payne's family and friends at his funeral. Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Niall Horan, and Louis Tomlinson reunited to pay their respects at the service held for the 31-year-old singer, who passed away after falling from a hotel balcony in Buenos Aires.

A horse-drawn carriage carried Liam’s coffin to St. Mary’s Church in Amersham, located 25 miles northwest of London. The dark blue casket with silver handles was adorned with white roses and floral tributes that read “Son” and “Daddy.”
