Vidaamuyarchi Actress Trisha Krishnan Says Her X Account Is Hacked, Fans Notice Now-Deleted Scam Posts

Trisha Krishnan, who is currently basking in the success of her recent film Vidaamuyarchi, recently announced that her X (formerly Twitter) account was compromised. Fans observed now-deleted posts promoting cryptocurrency scams, indicating unauthorised access.

Today, February 11, Trisha Krishnan took to her Instagram to post that her X account has been compromised. She wrote, "My Twitter is hacked guys. Whatever posted not from me until rectified. Thanks".

However, this is not the first time that the actress' account has been hacked. Her Facebook and X accounts have been hacked before too, due to her association with PETA. Back then, her mother had lodged an official complaint. In her complaint, Trisha's mother had written, "She has been a dog lover since she was a child, and PETA associated with her for a photo shoot to adopt strays. That's where her association with the organisation ends. We are Tamilians and we are not against Jallikattu."

The outrage she was facing was due to her post against the Jallikattu tradition, however her mother clarified that she had been hacked and said, "Someone hacked her account and posted it. Trisha immediately deactivated her account."

As soon as Trisha posted that she had been hacked, fans started noticing scammy crypto posts on her account. Although they have now been deleted, meaning Trisha's team might be gaining control on the account, fans quickly started posting screenshots of the posts.

One fan wrote, "Our Queen's twitter has been hacked please don't access the links shared in the tweet. Might be possible for hacking your device and account. @trishtrashers", while another stated, "#SouthQueen Trisha’s #X account got hacked #TrishaKrishnan".

Similar breaches have affected celebrities like Tom Holland, whose X account was previously hacked to promote a fake 'Spiderverse' NFT collaboration. Even Amitabh Bachchan's X account was compromised by a Turkish hacked in the past.
